A-QCM

A-QCM stands for Automated Quality Certification Model. It is a model for the automatic quality verification and certification of the software exploiting the potential of the ETICS Grid infrastructure and the ETICS build and test system.

The current A-QCM version focuses on the static analysis of classes and code, the structural tests, the functional tests, the standards and operating system compliance. The model also guarantees objective and homogeneous results between different applications, so that different pieces of software can be easily compared.

By using A-QCM you can certify any kind of software. It exploits the Grid potential to optimize the time to carry out the results and to provide a multi-platform system. Software is tested in order to certify the following quality aspects:

- Functionality
- Reliability
- Maintainability
- Portability

Why Use A-QCM?

A-QCM can offer several benefits. It allows you to:

- automate the quality certification activities for your software
- objectively  highlight the quality of your applications
- easily  monitor the development progress of your software in order to maintain a good level of quality during the production lifecycle
- not to waste resources in order to perform manual quality checks.

A-QCM can also help you achieve the ISO 9126 certification or improve your CMMi level.

A-QCM has been developed considering several ISO standards for the description, the structure and the names of the quality aspect to test. According to this A-QCM can be considered a good quality certification model itself, moreover it can be integrated into ISO as a practical way to apply several of its principles.
